China's VY150 deep-sea work robot heads to South China Sea expedition

The VY150 heavy-duty deep-sea work robot, developed by Shandong Future Robot and Harbin Institute of Technology, left Weihai port on September 28 for a joint expedition in the South China Sea. The ROV is rated for 4,500 meters, extendable to 6,000 meters, with more than 10,000 China-made components.
