BAIC Foton debuts Cavan Beacon freight truck at IAA Transportation 2026

China's BAIC Foton unveiled the heavy-duty Cavan Beacon in Hannover, built on a modular platform with 15 battery-electric, battery-swap and hydrogen configurations. Range exceeds 600 km on battery and 1,000 km on hydrogen, with a 20–80% charge in about 18 minutes at up to 1.44 MW.
