Tesla Robotaxi operates in seven US markets, from 23 to 1,098 sq. miles

Tesla detailed the footprint of its Robotaxi service across seven US metro areas. The San Francisco Bay Area is the largest zone at 1,098 sq. miles, while Austin grew from 20 to 246 sq. miles. California rides still require a safety monitor; Texas and Florida run driverless.

• Austin: 246 sq. miles, a 12x expansion since the June 2025 beta
• Bay Area: 1,098 sq. miles, but rides still include a safety monitor
• Dallas, Houston, Miami, Orlando and Tampa: 23.6–31 sq. miles, fully driverless
• FSD v15 with a 10-billion-parameter network is due in October
