Mexico Moves to Force Digital Storefronts to Disclose License Terms
Senator Luis Donaldo Colosio Riojas and deputy Iraís Reyes proposed a consumer-rights initiative requiring digital storefronts to disclose at purchase that buyers get a license, not ownership, preserve access to games after servers shut down, and keep a local Mexican address for disputes. The proposal has not been enacted.
