Pennsylvania bill would force publishers to keep digital games playable

Pennsylvania Sen. John Kane filed the Protect Our Games Act, which would require game publishers to give 60 days' notice before ending access to a title and offer one of three options: offline play, a patch to run without servers, or a refund. Refunds must be at least 25% of the initial price and no less than the title's highest price in the past 12 months.
