US Army names five winners of xTechHumanoid robot competition
The US Army has announced five winners of the xTechHumanoid competition on military uses of humanoid robots. Among them is Alex, a 29-joint robot from the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition with ballistic protection and hybrid AI-human autonomy. The contest drew 103 proposals.
