Ubuntu 24.04 LTS Users Can Now Upgrade to Ubuntu 26.04.1 LTS

Canonical has enabled the upgrade path from Ubuntu 24.04 LTS to Ubuntu 26.04.1 LTS. Desktop users will get a notification in Update Manager, while server users can upgrade manually. The new release ships with Linux kernel 7.0, GNOME 50 and a Wayland-only session.
