TrendForce: HBM prices to more than double in 2027

TrendForce raised its 2027 HBM price forecast, expecting the blended average selling price to jump 121% year over year on AI server demand and supply constraints. GPU and ASIC makers are shifting to 8-high HBM, whose per-Gb cost runs 10–20% above 12-high stacks.
