Python Workers Reach GA on Cloudflare, Cold Start Questions Remain

Cloudflare has made Python Workers generally available two years after the first preview. Python now runs alongside JavaScript and TypeScript with bindings to Workers AI, R2, D1, Hyperdrive, Durable Objects, Queues and Workflows, plus FastAPI, Django and Flask support. Community debate centers on cold starts (~900 ms versus ~60 ms on Wasmer) and upstream maintenance funding.
