Sentinel-4 Goes Operational: Europe Completes First Three-Continent Pollution Monitoring Ring

EUMETSAT has formally assumed operational control of the Copernicus Sentinel-4 spectrometer aboard the Meteosat-13 satellite. The instrument delivers hourly views of Europe and North Africa, completing with GEMS (Asia) and TEMPO (North America) the first continuous geostationary air-quality monitoring ring.
