Report: AI data center pollution could cause 1,300 premature deaths by 2028

The Environmental Protection Network released a report warning that air pollution from AI data centers could contribute to roughly 600,000 asthma symptom cases, 1,300 premature deaths and over $20 billion in annual public health costs by 2028. About 1,300 data centers operate in the US, with 2,000 more planned.
