Counterpoint: sub-$200 smartphone segment to shrink over 40% by 2030

Counterpoint Research forecasts smartphone shipments recovering to about 1.2 billion units in 2030, nearly back to 2025 levels. The sub-$200 segment is expected to decline by more than 40%, with 230 million sub-$200 units disappearing, while shipments priced at $200 and above grow roughly 26%.
