Florida anglers fish a lost US Air Force LUCAS attack drone out of the water

A Florida fishing charter pulled a US one-way attack drone out of the water near Eglin Air Force Base. The LUCAS is a reverse-engineered take on Iran's Shahed-136, costs $35,000–55,000 and has been in use since February 28, 2026, after eight months of development.
