GF's MIPS bets on RISC-V for physical AI, expands into autos and data centers

MIPS, a GlobalFoundries unit, said it has completed integration with the ARC unit acquired from Synopsys earlier this year. The company is positioning RISC-V for physical AI and expanding from AIoT into automotive and data center segments.
