Vanguard chairman says AI slowdown won't free up chip capacity
The chairman of Vanguard International Semiconductor said chip capacity will stay tight even if AI growth slows. The remark came as VSMC, the joint venture between VIS and NXP, opened its 12-inch wafer fab in Tampines, Singapore, on September 28.
