Nvidia unveils AI agent security platform and $150bn stock buyback

Nvidia announced its Open Agent Safety Platform, built on open-source OpenShell software and an on-chip Sentry layer to monitor and contain AI agents. The board also approved a $150bn increase to its share repurchase program, bringing the total to $235bn. More than 100 organizations, including Microsoft, Perplexity, Accenture and JPMorgan Chase, are using the platform at launch.
