Federal agencies once feared Amazon could train AI on government data

Documents obtained by Fast Company via a public records request show that in early 2024 officials at the SEC and FBI examined whether Amazon's updated terms allowed it to train AI on government data. Amazon later clarified to the FBI that its services run on a separate cloud system and the changes would not affect bureau data.
