Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 vs Dimensity 9600 Pro: 2nm and LPDDR6

Qualcomm and MediaTek unveiled flagship chipsets built on TSMC's 2nm node with LPDDR6 and UFS 5.0 support. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 runs cores up to 5GHz with 13% more performance, while the Dimensity 9600 Pro uses a 2+3+3 layout up to 4.55GHz with a 17% gain. Phones like the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max, Vivo X500 Pro Max and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max are already out in China, with global launches in October.
