Waymo says self-driving cars cut injury-causing crashes by 82%

Waymo claims its driverless cars logged 271 million driverless miles through June and were involved in 82% fewer injury-causing crashes than human drivers. Serious-injury crashes fell 95%, pedestrian crashes 93%, cyclist crashes 86% and motorcyclist crashes 82%.
