Waymo: 271 million driverless miles, 82% fewer injury crashes

Waymo's latest safety report says its driverless cars were involved in 82 percent fewer injury-causing crashes than human drivers across 271 million autonomous miles in five cities. The company operates nearly 4,000 vehicles in more than 10 US cities, logging about 2 million driverless miles and over 500,000 paid rides weekly.
