FDA clears Wandercraft's Eve exoskeleton for spinal-cord patients

French company Wandercraft received FDA clearance to sell Eve, a personal exoskeleton for people with spinal-cord injuries. The self-balancing suit uses 12 motors in the hips, knees and ankles to help users stand and walk without crutches, at a fixed 0.25 m/s with up to four hours of battery life.
