NTC fines Globe, DITO and Smart for poor service in Metro Manila
The Philippines' National Telecommunications Commission imposed daily fines of Php 100,000 starting September 25 on Globe, DITO and Smart over unsatisfactory service in Metro Manila. The September 2026 speed test revalidation showed the operators' performance remains below the levels recorded in the first and second quarters of 2026.
