Metro Atlanta Has Over 6,000 Flock Cameras, Making Tracking Hard to Avoid

The crowdsourced project DeFlock estimates more than 6,000 Flock automated license plate reader (ALPR) cameras across metro Atlanta as of September 2026. The cameras log time, location and vehicle details, while at least 19 law-enforcement employees in five states faced consequences for alleged misuse of the network.
