Meta unveils $1,299.99 VR glasses with external Compute Puck
At Connect 2026 Meta showed modular VR glasses weighing 100 g with a separate Compute Puck powered by the Snapdragon Reality Elite chip, 12 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Dual micro OLED displays deliver 2412×2288 pixels per eye at 120 Hz, but the field of view is limited to 70° horizontal. Price is $1,299.99, launching in spring 2027.
