Sierra Club downgrades Sierra Pacific over gas buildout for AI data centers

Sierra Club's sixth Dirty Truth report gave Sierra Pacific Power (NV Energy) a D grade, its worst in five years. The utility plans over 2.7 GW of new gas capacity by 2035 as AI data centers are projected to grow from 5% to 64% of NV Energy sales by 2046.
