Crusoe drops $1.25B plan to use Boom turbines at AI data centers

Crusoe has ended its partnership with Boom Supersonic, scrapping plans to spend $1.25 billion on 29 of Boom's 42-megawatt Superpower gas turbines for AI data centers, including its Abilene, Texas campus. Boom says it will deliver about 250MW of Superpower turbines to other sites next year and targets 1GW in 2028.
