Thailand exports jump 24.3% on AI-driven demand for hard drives and PCBs
Thailand's outbound shipments rose 24.3% year-on-year in August to $34.62 billion, the fastest growth in 56 months. Demand was driven by hard disk drives, about 80% of global supply, and printed circuit boards for Nvidia AI servers, with HDD capacity sold out into 2027–2028.
