China Investigates DeepSeek, Moonshot AI Over Alleged Claude Data Rerouting

China has opened investigations into DeepSeek and Moonshot AI after Anthropic accused them of secretly routing user requests to its Claude models. Anthropic said DeepSeek rerouted over 12.1 million exchanges in 14 days in July, while Moonshot used 5,380 fraudulent accounts for nearly 300,000 requests.
