Microsoft relaunches Copilot with Office integration and Autopilot agent

Microsoft launched a redesigned Copilot app with a Home section that unifies Chat and the Cowork work agent, capable of creating Word documents, Excel budgets and PowerPoint presentations. The cloud-hosted Autopilot agent (formerly Scout) runs recurring tasks without user involvement, while the Code feature lets users build apps and automations. Code reaches Frontier members by end of September, and the Today section enters private preview in October.
