Qualcomm brings Modular AI platform to Snapdragon

Qualcomm closed its $3.92 billion acquisition of Modular and plans to extend the company's software stack — the Mojo language, MAX inference engine and Modular Cloud — to Snapdragon chips for PCs and smartphones, plus its Dragonwing data center accelerator. The platform supports six chip architectures and is positioned as an alternative to Nvidia's CUDA.
