Googlebook: prices, release dates and key specs for all five models

Google has launched Googlebook, a new Android-based laptop category. The first wave includes five models from Acer, Lenovo, Dell, Asus and HP, all with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, launching 5 October at prices from $899 to $1299.

• Acer Googlebook 14 is the cheapest at £999/$899 with a 14-inch 120Hz OLED
• Dell XPS Googlebook is the only non-OLED model, runs Snapdragon X Elite, up to 18 hours
• Asus Googlebook 14 (CX9) offers up to 20 hours battery life, from £1199/$1199
• HP Googlebook 14c is the priciest at £1199/$1299 and weighs 0.98kg
