Skydio unveils F10 fixed-wing drone, MegaDock and fleet software

At its Ascend conference in Nevada, Skydio introduced the F10 Lightrunner, its first fixed-wing drone, capable of 100 mph, a 30-mile radius and up to two hours on a mission including charging. The company also showed MegaDock, which houses up to five F10 aircraft with a robotic launch-and-catch system, plus Asset Command and Security Command software.

• MegaDock holds up to five F10 drones and uses a suction robotic gripper for launch and recovery
• Asset Command imports GIS and CMMS data to plan inspections around individual assets
• Security Command dispatches a docked drone to alarms and streams live aerial video
