Bungie details Marathon's Symbiosis update and 2027 plans

Bungie outlined December's Symbiosis update for Marathon: team deathmatch, a permanent PvE mode, a Perimeter zone overhaul with the Tick Queen boss and a new shell archetype called Bishop. A March 2027 update will be "meaningfully larger than Symbiosis," adding interconnected PvE, PvP and PvEvP systems, a new zone and alien enemies.
