Gemini desktop app tests Tasks mode with app control

Google is reportedly testing a new Tasks mode in the Gemini desktop app for multi-step, hands-off work. Computer Use settings would let users pick which desktop apps Gemini can operate, and Tasks includes a Gemini Live button for voice.
