Amazon Recruits Former Employees for AI and Cloud Roles

Amazon recruiters are contacting former employees, including some laid off, about openings in its AI and cloud units. One August campaign, dubbed "Swami's Boomerang Reengagement Initiative," targeted alumni for machine learning jobs in the AWS AI agent organization. Amazon calls alumni recruiting a longstanding practice.
