ANYbotics lets ANYmal robots open doors for inspections

ANYbotics has partnered with dormakaba and LEGIC Identsystems to give its ANYmal robots automated door access. The system retrofits existing doors without infrastructure changes, and GE Vernova validated it at its Whitegate power plant in Ireland.

• ANYmal passes both unlocked and secured doors using a LEGIC digital credential
• Unlocked doors use dormakaba ED 100 and ED 250 operators with radar detection
• GE Vernova tested the solution for several weeks at Whitegate power plant in Ireland
• The capability will be offered as an add-on across the entire ANYmal fleet
