CXMT and YMTC Reportedly Prepare to Compete Across DRAM and NAND
China's CXMT and YMTC are reportedly moving into each other's markets: YMTC plans trial DRAM (LPDDR5) production by the end of 2026 at around 25,000 wafers per month, while CXMT is studying NAND plans that may not reach production until 2028–2029.
