Meta will let users opt out of AI training on smart glasses visual data

Meta added a setting that lets users opt out of having "visual data" from its smart glasses used for AI training. When opted out, camera images are used only to answer a query and are not reviewed by third-party contractors. Audio interactions can still be used for training.

• Camera images will not be shown to overseas third-party contractors
• Meta also unveiled a Ray-Ban glasses lineup with no cameras at all
