Cadence adds RTL generation agent to ChipStack AI platform

Cadence has extended its ChipStack AI Super Agent platform with an agent that generates RTL from natural-language specs. Early evaluations show a 24% average area reduction and 18% power reduction versus pure foundation-model code generation, with 100% functionally accurate RTL. Honda R&D is evaluating the agent on automotive SoCs, and early access is expected in Q4 2026.
