Norway Sets 2028 Deadline for Fen Rare Earth Mine Plan

Norway's government has committed to a formal mining plan for the Fen Carbonatite Complex, Europe's largest rare earth deposit, by 2028 at the latest. The site holds 15.9 million metric tons of rare earth oxides, including about 3 million tons of magnet-critical NdPr, but Europe still lacks a funded refining and separation facility.
