Chandra captures 16 galaxies torn apart, blasted and reborn

NASA released a gallery of 16 galaxy images from the Chandra X-ray Observatory, combined with data from James Webb, Hubble, IXPE, Swift and NuSTAR. The images show galaxy collisions, supermassive black hole jets, starbursts and galaxies being stripped of their star-forming gas.
