YouTube turns Ask YouTube into an AI shopping companion

At its Made on YouTube event, YouTube announced that its AI-powered conversational search feature Ask YouTube will become a shopping companion, offering organized product recommendations and comparison tables, with follow-up questions available directly on the video watch page. Over 140 million people used Ask YouTube in June, up more than 500% since December.
