OpenAI gives free cyber defence tools to Ukraine

OpenAI will provide Ukraine's government with free access to its AI cyber defence system Daybreak and the advanced GPT 5.6 Sol model to protect civilian infrastructure such as hospitals and power plants. Ukraine's CERT-UA recorded nearly 6,000 cyber-attacks in 2025.
