Qualcomm to acquire PickNik Robotics, keep MoveIt open-source

Qualcomm has agreed to acquire PickNik Inc., the developer of the open-source MoveIt manipulation framework. The companies plan to integrate MoveIt with Qualcomm's Dragonwing platform to ease the path from AI models to planning, manipulation and real-time control. MoveIt 1 and 2 will remain open-source under their existing license; the deal amount was not disclosed.
