China Overtakes U.S. as Top Destination for Elite AI Talent

The share of top AI researchers working in China rose from 27.1%, making the country the leading destination for elite AI talent ahead of the U.S., according to a study by think tank Carnegie China. Researchers increasingly choose to stay and work at home.
