Sweden launches "dare to be rude" campaign against cyber scams
Swedish police relaunched a national awareness campaign featuring actors Suzanne Reuter, Lennart Jähkel, Christina Schollin and journalist Claes Elfsberg, urging people to hang up on suspicious callers instead of being polite. Cybercriminals made 5.7 billion SEK ($579.9 million) in Sweden in 2025, with the over-60s most often targeted.
