Valve shadow drops chicken pets into CS2

CS2 has quietly added pet chickens with no mention in the patch notes: an egg from the weekly drop hatches into a chick after a week, which can be fed and raised. Adult chickens come in 35 rarity and skin variants, learn tricks and leave a photo on the player's profile.

• The egg drops from the weekly reward, is untradeable and consumes both weekly drops
• After a week in the inventory the egg hatches into a chick you can name and photograph
• Chickens have 35 rarity and skin variants, from plain brown to nuclear red and toxic green
• They can run in circles, flap and fly, and do a karate kick before leaving once fully grown
