TCS: only 9% of physical AI pilots reach operations

A TCS survey of 300 manufacturing CXOs and VPs in North America and Europe found that only 9% have moved a physical AI pilot into operations, 4% run deployments across more than five facilities, and 6% see measurable financial returns. AMRs and AGVs lead active deployments at 60%, robotic arms and cobots at 55%, while humanoids account for just 2%.
