Netherlands picks Groningen data centre for its €201M AI factory supercomputer
SURF selected Eurofiber's data centre on the Zernike Campus in Groningen to host the Dutch national AI supercomputer. Installation is set for 2027, with full operation expected by early 2028. The €201M project is funded by EuroHPC JU (€71M), the Dutch government (€70M) and the Nij Begun programme (€60M).
