Breeze TTS 2 tops ElevenLabs on TTS leaderboard but bans commercial use

Open-weight Breeze TTS 2 is now the top open model on the Artificial Analysis text-to-speech leaderboard at Elo 1215, ahead of ElevenLabs Eleven v3 at 1175, and costs $34 per 1M characters versus $100. Its weights, however, are licensed for research and non-commercial use only, requiring a separate written agreement with BreezeBlue for commercial products.
